These 9 small changes to your diet could help you lose weight - WellBeing from the Malaga Food Guide

With more and more people working from home and all the restrictions imposed upon on us due to the Corona Virus, it's hardly surprising that a lot of us are looking for ways to lose weight. Simply making these small changes can have a lasting effect.

1. Drink at least 2 litres of water every day.

2. Don't skip breakfast, it really is the best meal of the day.

3. Eat good fats. It's important to eat foods rich in healthy fats like avocado, salmon or nuts. These should be consumed in moderation though.

4. Eat food rich in fibre such as fruit, vegetables, wholegrain cereals, beans and pulses.

5. Eat proteins as they not only make you feel fuller sooner but also help build muscle.

6. Reduce your intake of alcohol, we know we should but not so easy in these difficult times.

7. Take the time to sit down properly and eat your meal. Not eating whilst working.

8. Take more exercise, one of the easiest is by using the stairs and not the lift, yes we all know it!

9. Make a list of what you're eating every day. A great way to highlight the problem areas of our eating habits.
