The main entrance, which is the only remaining marble archway of what was once a seven-arched shipyard is beautiful with its vibrant stained glass. Ambrosia, Marbella

Ambrosia market is in Marbella’s famous Puerto Banús port.It has a feel of luxury that you would expect from this fashionable area and states its aim “to become a reference point for Gourmet food in  Spain”. Ambrosia also offers a more international flavour  which include cuisines from Asian, Russian and Arabia as well as  Traditional Spanish.

Mercado Merced, City of Málaga

Also in Málaga city, Mercado Merced, is another fresh produce market, but the real attraction is the array of stalls and local restaurants serving gourmet snacks, and tapas. The Mercado Merced is based on the famous Mercado San Miguel in Madrid. There are specialty beer and wine stalls that accompany the food vendors that enable you to purchase some treats to take away.
